Springtime

Heyyy My Jazzy Loves!! Sorry Ive been MIA, but I've been so busy to blog. Ive taken some shots of my outfits w/ my iPhone the past couple weeks, so I'll share them here w/ you guys.

This past Sunday, I went to my daughter's Great Great Grandmother's 100th birthday celebration. The  family wore all turquoise and teal.  My dress is more of the sea foam side but it worked. The dress is actually lace all the way around and open in the back, however since I was going to a 100th birthday party I wore a white cami underneath.

OOTD: Prosperity And Harmony

A couple Saturdays ago I went to my friends birthday party in Huntington Beach.

My dear friend Danielle was there with her mobile spa, DLuxe. She's a licensed massage therapist, currently working in a Chiro office in the South Bay area if anyone is interested, however via her mobile spa she is available for parties, gatherings, etc. She gave me the best back massage & also offered to do a 'soul cleansing'. Soul Cleansing is the clearing and cleansing of past/present/parallel/future lives and negative energies that are impacting upon this present life in a negative way, thereby stopping you from reaching your full potential.

Champagne Friday's

February 17th, ByBy Fashion Psychology & Urban Glam Gyrl hosted Champagne Friday's at the lovely ByBy Studios in Los Angeles.

Please visit Urban Glam Gyrls Website for her deets:  http://urbanglamgyrl.com/
Make sure to like her FB page, she offers some really great advice on natural remedies

Also, if you live in Los Angeles, save the date of April 21st, ByBy Fashion Studio will be hosting a 2.0 LA blogger vintage sale. Bring your cash!
3560 S. La Cienega Blvd., Los Angeles, CA, 90016

It was an evening filled with bottomless champagne, featuring handmade bath & body products by Scentsational Soaps, foundation matching & mini makeovers by Sacha Cosmetics, massages by mobile spa company Manly Handz, and nail art, manis & pedis by Artistic Glow.

Scentsational Scents is a company based out of  Los Angeles who prides themselves on being an all-natural handmade soap company, while keeping NO water, NO preservatives, NO mineral oil, and NO animal testing our number one priority. Please visit their website, you will also notice they offer a great recycling program for their body butter containers. Kudos to that!

My girlfriend purchased this cold process soap for me in the scent of Imagination, its made
with moisturizing oils & shea butter. I love the smell of this soap, I have been using it every
since that night & it makes your skin soft & feels moisturized all day.
The wrap that is around the package, can be planted in soil & will bloom into a plant!
How is that for going GREEN & keeping it natural!
Danielle & I
Handz down, the best part of my evening was being pampered with a relaxing hand massage by Shawn from the mobile spa company Manly Handz. They're another LA based company who specializes in hand, feet and temple massages. They've been seen my many celebrities and most recently were on Power106 on Valentines AM. Awesome service & very professional.

P.S.... As you can see my Bahia Bracelet is still hanging on. :)
This event was sponsored by Pamper Me Sweets, the "dessert spa"
This was a Oh-La-La Banana Split mini cupcake & it was soooooooooo GOOD!
I also tried their Relax Me Velvet Cake cupcake, which in my opinion was perfect for the setting. :)
Both were very moist & delicious

OOTD: Homage to Michael Jordan

My OOTD was for casual Friday at my job, which just so happened to fall on Michael Jordan's birthday.

I've missed more than 9000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed.... Michael Jordan

My love for Jordan started when I was about 9, I am part of that generation of basketball. Hardwood was just different back then, I don't know how to explain it, but you can relate if  you were a fan. I was born a Laker fan but the talent that Jordan delivered was inevitable regardless of who your team was.  Well...unless you were my Dad, he never was a Bulls or Jordan fan, ever. Ya see, my favorite past time was watching hoops with my Dad, I learned everything there was to ever know about basketball just listening to him talk his crap & throw remote controls when the Lakers lost. LOL I collected basketball cards, loads of them & would quiz him all the time...naming out the last name and jersey number & he'd tell me the team, he'd take me to the Bren Center in the summers & we'd watch the Lakers practice during off-season. I truly loved the game of ball, and still do!  I think I broke his heart when I got my first Starters jacket & it was in Red, not our native Purple & Gold. He'd always tell me, take that off!  Any of my close friends would tell you, my pager code was #23 & I was the epitome of a die hard Jordan fan. So when I rock my J's I rock em' with pride, having seen every milestone of his career and the first time every number of sneaker hit the shelf. I could care less if they cost 50 cents, 50 dollars or the price they retail for now. I rock mine as a homage, to one of the greatest players ever in the history of the NBA to hit the hardwood, I am a TRUE fan.

These are the first Jordan's to ever be released, the 1's. It's a trip hearing people call them Retros, but that's what they are.  Dang I'm old!!

Wearing the 10's in red. I've had these since 2005.

This was my Instagram :)

Half way thru the work week!
