My New Obsession!!

I posted a pic a couple weeks back of my Vince Camuto heels that I LOVE with a triple passion...I was just browsing WHO WHAT WEAR and came across this fabulous layout of their Fall seasons boots!! Check it out!!

There are many lovely things about fall fashion—cozy sweaters, chic coats, super-soft cashmere scarves—but our favorite aspect has to be the footwear. The moment we get to switch out our studded sandals and slinky stilettos for sleek boots is always undeniably thrilling. This year, that transition is even more exciting that usual, thanks to Vince Camuto's beautifully designed boots! The fall collection is truly noteworthy and offers a sensational selection of elegant knee-high boots, mid-calf lace-ups, and stylish ankle booties galore. Plus, each pair is impeccably finished with subtly luxurious details, like sleek zippers or perfectly proportioned buckles. All in all, these must-have boots are both refined and completely current, so whichever pair (or two! or three! or more!) you choose, you're certain to look fabulous all season long!

Nude, Ivory, Beige, Neutrals..

Nude, Ivory, Beige, Browns, Neutrals, Chunky Knitts, and Faux Furs.. are hitting the streets this Fall.  Check out some of my favs and how they rocked it!!

Christina Milian with over the knee beige boots. I love them, but I never know how to wear them without look GHETTO!!

Tiny on her way to support her man in court looking semi ok prior to learning her man will do another year bid in the joint! Back to weekly private jet flights to the slammer for visits.
Tiny is probably one of the only few women, IMO that can rock a ghetto fabolous outfit. Seriously, who could pair the Gucci Pumps & handbag w/ pink hair so well.  Tiny is always over the top in jewels, hair, makeup and nails...But I love it!!

LOVE LOVE LOVE these boots, the detail is HOT...

Faux Fur and more Faux fur paired with a chunky knit sweater and BB. Her boots are TDF

Nude pumps!! With more Faux Fur sleeves!!!

Weekend Re[CAP]

The weather was the perfect mix between gloomy skys, with bits of peak-a-boo sunshine && sporadic drizzles.

This weekend my daughter was away at her God Momma's house @ a slumber party!

So Friday night the Mr. && a friend played pool, I haven't played in I don't know how long....Final Score Me=0, Mr. =2, Friend=1. He wins!
Saturday my cutie Godson Deondre came over for a cpl hours while his Momma went to get her nails done.  This is him watching America's Next Top Model with me. Later we picked up lunch at WingStop and few other friends stopped by and hung out on their way to LAX to pic up family. Good Times, too quick tho...:)

Saturday night was so unexpected, it turned out to be a great night.

After meeting up with some of the Mr's friends, we head to a lounge. I had no idea where we were going, or if I was even appropriately dressed. I was wearing ponte pants, a loose off the shoulder top with my new Jeffery Campbell Thanks wedges. But oh well, he knows I go with flow.

We pull up at the Westin Bonaventure which is in Downtown financial district of LA.  Many people are familiar with the L.A.PRIME atop this famous hotel..However we went to the Bona Vista Revolving lounge on the 34th floor. Anytime I get to go downtown and sit in a space where I can see the city view && lights is like being on cloud 9 for me. I don't know why I'm so fascinated with tall city buildings. I'm so curious about what it's like to work in one of them && I always wonder why are all those lights still on? LOL
The view from the elevator going uppppp....It exposes a view && each room here has a floor to ceiling window view of the city.
So the best thing about this place is that it revolves, giving you an entire 360 view of Downtown LA. It moves very slowly, takes about an hour and 15 minutes to go around once. Pretty Chic if you ask me....

Day 15 – Something you don’t leave the house without.

My Crackberry, my Blackberry Tour that I can't live, breath, sleep without.  I will remember my phone before I remember my house keys!!  I've been a Blackberry user for about 3 years now && it's the best thing that ever happened. It's my navigation thru everything. What in the HECK did we do before these things?? LOL I use it as my ipod, my car navigation, emails, blogs, school, etc. etc.

Day 14 – A TV show you’re currently addicted to

I've been addicted to the Food Network for a couple months now. Something about these Gurus cookin' up some TDF dishes at a fast paced race gives me inspiration that I'll never use!! Well at least that's what the Mr. says...LOL

I like Chopped, Cupcake Wars...etc....etc...

Day 13 – Your favorite musician and why?

My favorite musician, hands down would be Teena Marie. Some may have never heard of Teena or even seen a picture of her, but if you're a FUNK fan of the late 70's early 80's or even followed Motown Records between 79-82 you KNOW who Teena IS! She is Rick James' protegee and is notable as one of the few successful white performers of R&B. She sings R&B with strong, robust vocals and plays rhythm guitar, keyboards and congas. She also has written, produced, sung and arranged virtually all of her songs since her 1980. She's truly talented & not many can match her voice! So Cal native, born in Santa Monica and attended Venice High.

I always loved hearing Teena's music on the radio so when a family member invited me to a Holiday Concert back in 2000 I was too excited to finally see her perform!! I almost fell on the floor when I found out she was white! I had no idea!!

I've seen Teena perform several times, her voice is BEAUTIFUL and she sounds PERFECT live. A true artist.
I chose Teena because she's a true musician, she's not just a studio artist. She can sing great & sound the same live. She writes her own music so we know it's truly coming from the heart. Also, she knows how to play intrustments...that's true MUSIC!
Some of  my favorite songs by Lady T:
Out on a Limb
Oh La La La
Casanova Brown
I'm Still In Love
Fire & Desire
Square Biz
If I were a Bell
A Rose by any Other Name
